East Grinstead Jazz Festival Returns This August

The East Grinstead Jazz Festival returns for its third year this August, running from Friday 14 August to Sunday 16 August. The festival will bring a lively weekend of jazz performances, workshops, concerts, and gigs to venues across the town.

  • A free gospel concert at St Swithun’s
  • "Jazz Africa: Roots to Now" at St Swithun’s
  • A jazz brunch on Sunday morning
  • A jazz lunch on the lawns at Chequer Mead

A Diverse Programme

Celebrating both established artists and emerging talent, the festival will showcase a wide-ranging programme featuring classic swing, traditional New Orleans jazz, Latin, gypsy jazz, gospel, contemporary jazz, and African-inspired jazz.

Audiences can look forward to an exciting atmosphere throughout the weekend, designed to appeal to dedicated jazz fans and newcomers alike.

Festival director Jenny Green, a former Meridian FM presenter, said:

“We’re delighted to bring the festival back this August and celebrate the incredible energy and creativity of live jazz music. The weekend is all about community, great performances, and bringing people together through music.”
